APRIL Sessions Details!
Monday 13th April 9am - Happy Hippy!
In this “Peaceful” session, children tie dye an article of clothing, create mesmerising art and much more!
Monday 13th April 1pm - Ballistic Balloons!
Balloon possibilities are endless! In this session students will create balloon rockets, animals and a super funny stress toys to take home!
Tuesday 14th April 9am - Out of this World!
The wonder of outer space comes alive in this session. With activities that include rockets, planets and the moon, our budding astronauts will love this session!
Tuesday 14th April 1pm - Artsy Animals!
Let your imagination run wild in this crafty session! Your child will create all kinds of artworks to take home!
Wednesday 15th April 9am - Full STEAM Ahead!
Engineering at it’s finest! In this session, children build a wind up vehicle as well as designing, building and racing a boat in our STEM Zone Regatta!
Wednesday 15th April 1pm - The Rube Goldberg Machine!
Cause and effect has never been so exciting! This session is pure creation with the children creating a Rube Goldberg machine that spans the entire building!
Thursday 16th April 9am - Get Your Craft On!
A fun, hands-on session where kids explore their creativity through exciting craft projects such as creating a 3D hand and paper plane launcher along with other imaginative activities.
Thursday 16th April 1pm - Mad Scientist!
Who doesn’t LOVE bouncy balls, elephant toothpaste and experiments involving a flame? No-one!!

JULY Sessions Details!
Monday 6th July 9am - Light it up!
Children will investigate the entire electromagnetic spectrum, reflection, refraction and splitting of light to create amazing experiments and even an illusion or two to take home with them!
Monday 6th July 1pm - Sport Science
In this action packed session, students will look at the best way to launch a projectile as well as their own reaction times and how their body responds to exercise. Laughter and fun are guaranteed in this fun filled physical session.
Tuesday 7th July 9am - Little Lab Legends!
Bubbles, making their own stickers and sultana experiments are just a few of our cool Science activities. Be prepared for non-stop talking on your way home after this fun filled session.
Tuesday 7th July 1pm - Relax Lab
Our kids LOVE sessions like this one. In this version, children will create all of the items required for a relaxing spa experience. They make candles and candle holders along with a face mask and lip balm!
Wednesday 8th July 9am - Science Sparks!
Hot glue guns get a workout in this session with the creation of hovercrafts and unique artworks. Kids have a blast exploring their creativity.
Wednesday 8th July 1pm - Tick Tick Boom!
This session is a dynamic exploration of energy in food and fuels. Sparks, explosions and mess are all part of this dynamic session.
Thursday 9th July 9am - Ye Olden Days!
In this crafty session, kids get to experience the age old skills of needlework and yarn. They make pom poms, sew on a button and try their hand at cross stitch or embroidery.
Thursday 9th July 1pm - STEM Sculpting
In this “mouldy” session, students create a variety of sculptures using different materials and different methods. From plastic to fake snow to clay… Let their imagination run wild!

SEPTEMBER Sessions Details!
Monday 28th September 9am - STEM Zone Catastrophe!
In the name of survival, children will have an awesome experience learning what happens to the body when they get bitten by a snake, some basic first aid as well as team building activities such as building a stretcher and creating a filter to produce clean water and use for a snack at the end of the session.
Monday 28th September 1pm - Ahoy there Mateee!!
Get ready for a pirate adventure!! Children make a pirate map, a compass and learn how to find the treasure hidden somewhere in STEM Zone using orienteering. There are also some funny pirate crafts in there too!
Tuesday 29th September 9am - What flips, flies and folds?
In this session, children make jumping and flying objects as well as create a gift box to put some special items inside.
Tuesday 29th September 1pm - Code Breakers
In this dynamic session, students identify the perpetrator of the crime through breaking their cryptic messages and identifying unknown substances left behind with forensic investigations!
Wednesday 30th September 9am - Mix, Make & Moisturise
In this day spa inspired session, children make their own body wash and hand cream as well as a face mask to apply as a relaxing end to the session.
Wednesday 30th September 1pm - Mini Olympics - Mind & Body
In this unconventional Olympics, children will participate in a variety of physical and mental feats! From catapulting an object through a hoop to breaking a cryptic code, this is sure to be an action packed session!
Thursday 1st October 9am - The Land Before Time
In this prehistoric session, children investigate fossils, dig for dinosaurs and they finish up with the good old making of a volcano that erupts at the end of the session!
Thursday 1st October 1pm - Food Around the World
In this delicious session, children make a variety of dishes from different countries around the world. Italian, Mexican, Japanese and good old Aussie favourites! **Please be aware of the potential for Food Allergies in this session.
Payment & Cancellations - School Holiday Program (view full Ts&Cs HERE)
▪ Full payment is required at the time of booking online.
▪ STEM Zone reserves the right to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances. All participants will be contacted as soon as possible, and if rescheduling is not possible then a refund will be offered.
▪ If the participant cancels the booking, then due to hire charges, wages, preparation and material costs, your ticket is non-refundable. You MAY transfer your ticket to another holiday session or to another child. Please email hello@stemzone.com.au with any session or name changes should you wish to pass on your ticket. 48 hours notice is required to make a change.
▪ STEM Zone takes no responsibility should you fail to attend an event you have booked for any reason (including illness). No refunds or credits will apply in this instance because the opportunity for another child to attend in your place is not possible.
